Pat Carey
After nearly a decade as a prosecutor for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, Pat Carey opened his own crimimal defense practice out of Manhattan Beach, California serving criminal defendants throughout southern California.
Pat Carey is the youngest Certified Criminal Law Specialist in California. As a specialist, he is in an elite group with less than 1% of lawyers in California. With a vast experience of over 60 criminal jury trials as a prosecutor ranging from DUIs and Driving Under the Influence to murder cases, Pat also handled 75 juvenile adjucation trials in juvenile court in Los Angeles County. Sam Spital is a former California Deputy Attorney General, handling over 50 Criminal Appeals to the California and U.S. Supreme Court. During that period of time, Sam was supervised by Senior Deputy Attorneys General (some of whom had gone on to become Judges in California), including the most recent Chief Justice Ron George of the California Supreme Court.
