Tomy hair skills are unparalleled!! Every time I come to get my hair cut/balayaged, he does such an amazing job- I always love the outcome.

I'll let me hair do the talking.... (pics attached ) for years I've searched for someone who masters the art of a hair cut. I have very long dull hair and I asked Tomy to keep the length but to give it some layers for volume. I didn't really know what I wanted but I just asked him to give it "life". Boy did he ever..... from the time I walked to the time I stepped out, I was impressed with not only his impeccable service but the man is TALENTED and clearly loves what he does in addition to being such a cool down to earth guy to talk to! Bianca (I think that's her name) styled my hair sooooooo beautifully after my cut and taught me how to blow dry it at home

From making an appointment to walkIng out happy, I had the best first time experience. It was recommended to me and I am definitely going back. Markie took her time, even though it was a Saturday and made sure I was comfortable, and liked my color, cut and style.

If I could put more than 5 stars I would! Lets just say the last 5 years moving to south Florida from the west coast has been a nightmare getting my hair done. Either they don't listen or they just don't know how to do balayage or highlights. Anyway, enough with all the bad I've been through there was a light at the end of my tunnel! Not only did they help with my crazy hectic life working full time in the ER and school full time but I sometimes don't even have enough time to call to make an appointment. They set up everything with me through yelp!
Now to my hair... I had Oshri and he is amazing! Not only did he fix the mess I had in my hair but I walked in telling him what I wanted and it actually came out how I expected it. He's a true artist! Seriously I had the best experience and I'm so happy with the results!
I wish I could have shown my hair before! Just trust me when I say they are the best thank you all for your help! I'm in love with my hair!

I've been putting my trust in this salon for 3 years now. My stylist is Markie and she never disappoints!! My hair is extremely extremely dark brown and I decided to go blonde. She was extremely patient and made this happen in one session. Thank you so much for the great service time after time

They take good care of me here and provide excellent service, ask for anyone really, I've noticed they all do a great job. One of the ladies gave me a nice head massage when shampooing, asked me how my day was, it was a great experience and I left feeling amazing. And Markie was very kind, didn't ask too many questions but did her job and well and was courteous.

I dont like color on my hair. When I call them ask how much for base color. Reception said $75 and first time come to salon they give me 15% off. When I'm done she charge me 115. I dont know why. When I call I said please give me the person to do good. I'm very picky. I dont care how much they charge if it come out good. But come out that's not color I like.

I decided to give this salon a chance after reading so many good reviews on it. When I arrived to the appointment I was greeted by my stylist Markie immediately which I appreciated. I told her that I wanted a balayage but I didn't want it to get blonde or brassy. This was my first time getting a balayage so I gave all my trust to the stylist.
While she was working on me I mentioned how I saw on the salon's Instagram how she was able to get hair from a black box dye to a nice balayage. That's why I requested her since my hair was also dyed black. She began to complain about that specific client in front of me, which shocked me cause I found it unprofessional to do that in front of a new client.
When I was about to get my hair tone, she mixed the toner but she didn't apply it to my hair herself, she actually had a learning assistant do it. That also bothered me a little.
I didn't pay for a blow dry but she blow dried the sides of my hair so I can see the results. From the sides I thought it looked good, but I never got to see the back of my hair. After I left the salon and my hair was completely dry I had a friend take a picture of the back of my hair and then I noticed how my hair actually looked. I was completely shocked. I live far away so I couldn't go back to the salon.
I was so disappointed since I had seen some of her previous work and have liked the outcome of them. I had to get my hair fixed at another salon since I'm not going to trust them to fix my hair if they already didn't do a good job on the first try. I won't be coming back to this salon.

If I could give this place 0 starts, I would. I just moved to south Florida and wanted to find a great place for the balayage I had been wanting. I arrived to the appointment at 10am and left ... get this... at 430 PM. I spent 6 and a half hours at a salon and left with my hair looking the exact same it did as I walked in.
I reiterated so many times that I did not want any brassiness in my hair. I wanted an ashy look and continued to stress how much I did not want any brassiness. I showed her tons of pictures of what I wanted and she seemed confident she could do it. I understood my hair was a little on the darker side so I even expressed to Markie, my stylist, that I would be willing to come back for 2 sessions to achieve my goal (if needed). She repeatedly assured me she would get the job done in 1. After the battle of brassiness, she began to talk badly about a client who she had that wrote a bad yelp review about her because she did not like the way her balayage turned out. I was extremely nervous at this point because of the unprofessionalism, but the foils were already in place.
I would just like to say, the fact that I had to order food to the salon because of how long I was there is absurd. I knew something was wrong when she toned my hair THREE TIMES and was completely silent when I was asking her how it looked. I knew I was going to hate what I saw.
Fast forward to when she was cutting my hair. She double booked me, and sped through my haircut so fast that I think it looked better with the split ends than her rendition of a haircut. She kept switching back and forth between me and the other client she had, which eventually lead to the 13 year old receptionist blow drying my hair. While she was blow drying my hair, the owner Tommy was conversing with his client about why he didn't like "Arab speaking Muslims". I found this offensive as a human being as well as someone who practices the faith but was so appalled in the moment that I had no words.
I left, $300 poorer, and was devastated. I immediately messaged Markie on Instagram when I got home expressing how displeased I was. She offered for me to come back in and tone my hair yet again, but I knew better this time. I called and spoke with Tommy who battled me to the death for a partial refund. He said it was my fault my hair didn't lift and that it should have been done in two sessions.... I digress.
I will never, ever return here. The unprofessionalism I encountered is unparalleled by anything I have ever experienced. If you care about your wallet and your hair, please avoid this place at all costs.

From the very beginning of my appointment to the end I felt secure, comfortable and trusting in YOTAM.
I came to the salon not knowing exactly what I needed but I knew what I WANTED and it needed to look natural. YOTAM delivered much better than I ever expected. I had a screwed up cut and he evened it out, leaving my hair long and luscious. Very complimenting balayage .. it illuminates my face and confidence. The color is gorgeous.. he is an artist. AND! The best dam blow out I have ever had in my life. It's been 3 days, rain and humidity and my hair is STILL smooth and not frizzy...!!! How does he do it?? Like I said ... ask for YOTAM.

I messaged the salon for an appointment and they immediately responded and called me to schedule a consultation.
At the consultation Tomy was very forward with me and let me know exactly what was going on with my hair. He actually didn't even need to hear my story because he knew told me what had been previously done to my hair. They were able to schedule me the following day to began the process.
I had whole Mishali team of stylist working on my hair for about six hours. The first day we were able to accomplish lifting all the color out, and putting in the shades to cancel out the orange, that the black hair usually bleaches to. Tomy also explained that I should consider cutting off the ends because as he put it "it doesn't matter how beautiful I can get your color, of your hair isn't healthy it will not look as good". Therefore I got talked into a SEXY haircut called a lob. That I recognized when I searched it but wasn't familiar with the name. Hubby played it and Markie went to town! Renae dryer and styled it and I was on my way!
The second day the team focused on the gray shades I wanted on my hair this time it was a four hour day. After cutting a lot of my hair I wanted more off and they kindly did so! The team again was extremely professional and attentive and I even got to celebrate Markies birthday. Which feels good since I will be a regular here.
Everyone was extremely professional and so kind and understanding to the fact that I was going to be there all day. Offering me beverages and good conversation to keep me comfortable. I even got to meet fellow chair buddies and here about their stories and how they have been with shop for over 20 years (of course their hair was stunning).
After a terrible color done at another local (5 star) salon I have been on a journey for 8 months filled with bleach after bleach to just get all the color that was initially put in my hair. Over 50 hours spent in a chair and thousands of dollars down the drain. I never want anyone to feel the helplessness I have the past 8 months especially in such an identity driven society and culture.
I walked in Tomy Mishali's salon feeling I confident and very insecure about my hair and walked out with a pep in my step and a bounce to my head. Thea k you so much Mishali Team!

Second time at the salon and had another great experience. I made the appointment a week before and came in a couple minutes earlier. I was immediately greeted by name and sat down. My look was done by Carolina and she did an incredible job :) so happy ! Thanks

Definitely will be returning in a couple months for retouches. Ask for Kay!! She is a doll and truly listens to the color and length you ask for! I usually do a normal partial highlight, but a balayage with full ashy blonde undertones is my new look. Thank you Kay!!
