I wish I could give 10 stars because Sheyla is that amazingggg! It's been a year since I started going to her for my hair needs and will never EVER go to anyone else again! After a long search process for a truly great salon and stylist to do a dramatic new cut I settled on True Hair and I am so happy I found them! The owner was super fast to respond on Yelp and booked my appointment right away. When I arrived the inside was super cute, clean and the ambiance was very friendly and upbeat.
The true gem of this whole place is Ethian - just WOW. I was super nervous about cutting my long hair into a bob (ladies-you know its kind of terrifying!) and he made me feel completely comfortable and confident from the get go. He is so friendly and lovely, great to chat to and took the time to look through all my "wish" photos of the cut before he even touched my hair to really understand what I wanted. In terms of his skills he is the best stylist I've been to in Miami (tough to beat Christina @ The Salon but he did it!) he was so fastidious and even pushed back his following appointment so he could go over all the details and make sure the cut was just right: even after he did the initial cut he went over it again to give it some like layering so it would move naturally and not look too stiff.
Beyond that the rest of the staff were so supportive (Alex in particular) while I was getting all this hair chopped off and the feeling in the salon was so friendly - not to mention they offer Prosecco and wine while you're there!
Bottom line: I walked in very nervous and worried I was about to regret chopping all my hair off and walked out having fallen in *love* with this place (especially Ethian!) AND the cut actually turned out even better than I imagined (the picture really doesn't do it justice). I am sending all my friends here!

What a hidden gem!
I first contacted this salon because I had been given a HORRENDOUS haircut by another salon. When I reached out, Ellie, the owner set an appointment for me right away in order to help me not look a mess for Thanksgiving. Beforehand, she let me know that although I was always use to having long hair, there was going to be quite a bit of hair she would have to cut in order to fix the damage. The fact that she was honest, was already a plus.
I was scheduled with Ethian and he did not disappoint. My hair not only was saved from having to go super short, but Ethian used products that left my hair looking healthier than ever! Ethian was on time, he listened to my story and explained the entire process as he went. He made some future recommendations for my hair, but was not pushy at all.
I can honestly say, I am extremely happy with the service and the staff. Thank you True Hair Miami!

True hair Miami is a hidden gem and they are so lucky to have TOM as an addition to their team! Tom is so talented and truly enjoys what he does. Tom went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and took his time to ensure everything was just right. I went in with extensions to be added which did not Match my hair color and he did wonders to make it all come together! Magic! I am so happy and will continue to be a client of his for years to come!

A woman being a woman, I found myself having a STRONG urge to cut all my hair off. My hair is thick, dark & grows like grass- I had to get rid of it! Through yelp I came across True Hair Miami. What first caught my eye was the 5 star reviews, second the location is right in Midtown; a 10 minute commute for me, which is perfect. The salon itself is in a suite, the inside is clean and the music is relaxing. They even offer beverages .The prices I would say are slightly above average but who complains when they've gotten a thorough and perfect haircut from someone with over 35 years experience . I took a gamble trying a new salon and I do not regret my decision. My hair was ratty and nappy looking, thanks to True hair & Tomas, I have a new, sleek edgy bob! Thanks so much !

What can I say! This place is amazing. AMAZING . I've been a client for about 6 years. Every time I come, not only I get my hair done exactly how I ask, but the quality of customer service is exceptional. My colorist Sheyla is a true artist, wow! She takes her time and skill to make me look my best. Ellie the owner is always welcoming, friendly and displays professionalism with every one who walks in.

Thanks Yelpers for helping me find True Hair Miami. I'm new to south Florida, and visited a few high end salons before coming to True Hair. I couldn't be happier with my hair. I've seen Ellie a few times now, and she always does a great job with my color. Her salon is one of the few I found that uses Schwarzkopf color, wish is a big win for me.
Everyone here is so friendly, and really goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I count the days till my next appointment.

I can't believe I haven't wrote about my favorite hairstylist/human being in the industry! Every time I come to Sheyla she's always welcoming with such a great energy you can feel in your head while she's coloring or blow dry the hair. I cannot think of any other Stylist to take care of my hair than Sheyla. Ethian is also a great hair dresser and I highly recommend him for a great hair cut :)

I love this place. I went to them for the first time last week. I really enjoyed the customer service. Ethian worked on me. He did an amazing job with my hair. I got a keratin treatment, very impressed with the results. Highly recommend for anyone in the area look for a hair stylist. I will definitely be going back to them!

Ethian is my favorite hair stylist in Miami. He gives the best scalp massages and flattering haircuts. My hair looks bouncy, shiny, and healthy. I love the ambiance of the salon as well. I can't begin to tell you how glad I am to have found Ellie! I recently moved to Miami and got a very unfortunate experience with color in another salon, so I was afraid to even try a new place. Great hair salon in Miami without the Miami prices to go along with it. The salon is chic and small so only a few people are there at a time. I have been to Sheyla and Ethian for cut/color and both are very welcoming! They also don't try to sell products at each visit which is a plus for me. Highly recommend!!

I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE!!!! Sheyla is the best. This is my second time coming and each time it gets better. My hair was yellowish/orange and she made it look just like I wanted it. Great costumer service! Will be coming back for sure
